Pengaruh Paparan Bising pada Proses Penggilingan terhadap Terjadinya Gangguan Pendengaran pada Pekerja Pertambangan Emas Skala Kecil di Kecamatan Sekotong.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Paparan bising pada pertambangan emas skala kecil terutama pada proses penggilingan dalam waktu yang lama dapat menyebabkan Gangguan Pendengaran Akibat Bising (GPAB). Data dan penelitian mengenai hal ini di Indonesia masih sangat kurang sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan suara bising terjadinya gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja penggilingan emas skala kecil.

Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan potong lintang yang dilakukan pada pekerja pertambangan skala kecil berusia 18-60 tahun di Sekotong. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 90 responden. Pada subjek penelitian dilakukan wawancara untuk pengisian data dan pemeriksaan fungsi pendengaran dengan garpu tala pada frekuensi 512 dan 2048 Hz. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dan uji korelasi lambda.

Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan garpu tala pada frekuensi 512 Hz ditemukan 24 pasien (26,7%) mengalami tuli telinga kiri dan 25 pasien (27,8%) mengalami tuli telinga kanan, sedangkan pada hasil pemeriksaan garpu tala pada frekuensi 2048 Hz ditemukan 53 orang (58,9%) mengalami tuli bilateral. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square dan korelasi lambda diperoleh hasil bahwa pada frekuensi 512 Hz durasi kerja dan masa kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap terjadinya gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja tambang (p = 0,00), namun korelasinya sangat lemah (r = 0,00). Pada frekuensi 2048 Hz, durasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan (p = 0,00) terhadap terjadinya gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja tambang dengan korelasi yang kuat (r = 0,703), tetapi masa kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan (p = 0,094).

Kesimpulan: Paparan bising pada proses penggilingan berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya gangguan pendengaran pada pekerja pertambangan emas skala kecil di Kecamatan Sekotong.
