Korelasi Pengukuran Antropometrik dengan Kebugaran Kardiorespirasi pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Mataram

Abstract

Antropometrik dan kebugaran kardiorespirasi dapat memberikan informasi penting tentang kondisi kesehatan seseorang. Penelitian ini menilai korelasi antara parameter antropometrik yang meliputi indeks massa tubuh (kg/m2), persentase lemak tubuh (%), dan lingkar pinggang (cm) dengan kebugaran kardiorespirasi yang diukur melalui ambilan oksigen maksimal (VO2maks). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan metode cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah 82 orang mahasiswi FK Unram yang diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara persentase lemak tubuh dan lingkar pinggang dengan kebugaran kardiorespirasi, masing-masing dengan p = 0,02; r = -256 dan p = 0.026; r = -245. Tidak terdapat korelasi antara indeks massa tubuh dengan kebugaran kardiorespirasi dengan p = 0.231 (p>0.05). Persentase lemak tubuh dan lingkar pinggang berkorelasi negatif dengan kebugaran kardiorespirasi, yang berarti semakin tinggi persentase lemak tubuh dan lingkar pinggang maka kebugaran kardiorespirasi yang dimiliki semakin rendah. Persentase lemak tubuh dan lingkar pinggang secara tidak langsung dapat menjadi indikator kebugaran kardiorespirasi.
