Abstract

ACL is one of the most important structure of the knee joint and it’s one of the most frequently injured part. Individuals that have more risk of ACL injuries are athletes such as soccer players, basketball player and skiers. The clinical manifestation of patients with ACL can vary depending on the severity of the injury but generally the patient will complain of a “pop” sound when the knee jerking. ACL management can be divided into two which is non-operative and operative management. Non-operative management has several limitations so operative therapy has remains as the main choice in patient with ACL injuries. After operative therapy, it is necessary to undergo rehabilitation to be able to fully restore the knee function. In postoperative rehabilitation of ACL, there are several phases with different focuses and varying types of exercise. This study was conducted from several online data centers such as Pubmed, Google Scholar and Researchgate using relevant keywords.
