Abstrak

Latar belakang: Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di dunia berkembang semakin pesat. Salah satu bentuk teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang banyak beredar di masyarakat saat ini adalah gadget. Di Indonesia, penggunaan gadget sudah menjadi tren bagi kalangan pelajar yang berusia kurang dari 15 tahun sebesar 27,9%. Tren penggunaan gadget pada usia tersebut dikhawatirkan menyebabkan kecanduan gadget dan berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan, salah satunya menyebabkan kualitas tidur terganggu. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecanduan gadget dengan kualitas tidur pada siswa khususnya di SDN 7 Mataram dan SDN 1 Gunungsari. Sehingga dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai hubungan tingkat kecanduan gadget terhadap kualitas tidur.

Metode: Metode penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional pada siswa kelas IV dan V dari SDN 7 Mataram dan SDN 1 Gunungsari yang pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan sampel diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner penilaian tingkat kecanduan gadget (SAS-SV) dan kualitas tidur (PSQI).

Hasil: dari 104 responden, sebagian besar tingkat kecanduan gadget responden termasuk dalam kategori risiko rendah 78(75,0%) dan mengalami kualitas tidur baik 76(73,1%). Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi gamma didapatkan (p) = 0,205 dan (r) = 0,293.

Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat kecanduan gadget dengan kualitas tidur.
