Perspektif Remaja dan Pengasuh yang Hidup dengan HIV/AIDS terhadap Hambatan Pengungkapan Status HIV terkait Kepatuhan Pengobatan pada Masa Milenial

Abstrak

Pengungkapan status HIV pada anak merupakan bagian dari manajemen HIV yang komperhensif dimana anak harus diberitahu tentang diagnosis penyakit mereka dan menjelaskan jika mereka harus menjalani perawatan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Namun dalam proses pengungkapan banyak hambatan yang sering kali ditemui seperti, adanya stigma pada masyarakat sehingga membuat pengasuh enggan untuk mengungkapkan status HIV anak, dan kurangnya tenaga kesehatan terampil yang mendukung proses pengungkapan. Adanya stigma dimasyarakat juga menghambat remaja dalam proses kepatuhan pengobatannya dikarenakan adanya rasa takut terkait diskriminasi dan stigmatisasi yang akan diperoleh. Tinjauan sistematis ini dilakukan melalui Scopus, Science Direct, dan SAGE. Pemilihan artikel mengikuti kriteria inklusi, termasuk artikel yang diterbitkan dalam lima tahun terakhir dan diterbitkan dalam bahasa inggris serta membahas tentang perpektif terhadap pengungkapan status HIV anak. Artikel yang diterbitkan tidak dengan bahasa inggri dan artikel yang memiliki tinjauan literature yang tidak jelas dikecualikan dalam penelitian ini. Diagram flow PRISMA dan daftar periksa penilaian JBI digunakan untuk menilai risiko bias dan kualitas artikel. 20 artikel yang relevan akan ditinjau. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dalam proses pengungkapan pengasuh dan petugas kesehatan harus berbagi tanggung jawab dan peran pada pengungkapan diagnosis untuk mendorong remaja yang hidup dengan HIV/AIDS dalam mematuhi pengobatan dan penerimaan status HIV mereka serta memberdayakan mereka untuk bertanggung jawab atas kesehatan diri mereka sendiri.
