A CUTANEOUS ADVERSE EFFECTS IN COVID-19 VACCINE

Pada Bulan Maret 2020, World Health Organization (WHO) mengumumkan Penyakit COVID-19 sebagaiPandemi. Vaksin adalah produk biologis yang dapat digunakan untuk menginduksi respon imun tubuh yang kemudian dapat memberikan perlindungan terhadap infeksi dan/atau penyakit pada paparan patogen, oleh karena itu, vaksinasimenjadi salah satu kunci pencegahan dan pemutusan rantai penyebaran COVID-19. Berdasarkan hasil uji klinis, vaksinCOVID-19 menunjukkan kadar imunogenisitas yang cukup menjanjikan dengan berbagai persentase efektivitas dantingkat keamanan yang cukup baik. Dengan dilaksanakannya vaksinasi di seluruh dunia, mulai bermunculan laporanefek samping derajat sedang hingga berat. Efek samping mukokutaneus penting untuk diperhatikan karena dapatterlihat secara kasat mata dan memiliki potensi menimbulkan rasa takut pada individu dan lingkungan sekitar, serta mengakibatkan keengganan masyarakat untuk melakukan vaksinasi.
