Abstrak

Latar belakang: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) adalah salah satu faktor risiko penyakit kardiovaskular, dan sebelumnya dilaporkan berhubungan dengan status kolesterol HDL serum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara status kolesterol HDL serum dan tingkat risiko OSA pada penduduk di Kecamatan Sekarbela Mataram.

Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain potong lintang. Penduduk berusia lebih dari 50 tahun di beberapa lingkungan Kelurahan Karang Pule dan Tanjung Karang, Kecamatan Sekarbela Mataram diikutsertakan dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 65 partisipan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Tingkat risiko OSA diestimasi berdasarkan STOP-Bang questionnaire yang meliputi mendengkur, kelelahan pada siang hari, henti napas saat tidur, riwayat hipertensi, IMT, usia, lingkar leher, jenis kelamin. Pengukuran status kolesterol HDL serum juga dilakukan. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Somers’d.

Hasil: Dari 65 partisipan, 43 (66%) memiliki tingkat risiko OSA yang tinggi. Sebanyak 30 (54%), 14 (21%) dan 16 (25%) partisipan dikategorikan status kolesterol HDL serum rendah, borderline dan optimal. Analisis korelasi Somers’d menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi antara status kolesterol HDL serum dengan tingkat risiko OSA (p > 0,05).

Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat korelasi antara status kolesterol HDL serum dan tingkat risiko OSA di Sekarbela Mataram
